Wynell Faye Munn McCreary, born Aug. 17, 1932 in Bay Minette, a resident of Stapleton for 51 years, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Alice Munn; and sister, Judy Munn.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Joe McCreary of Stapleton; daughter, Jan McCreary (Andy) Shadis of Stapleton; two sons, Mike McCreary (Pam Thompson) of Axis and John McCreary (Monica Smith) of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carolyn Munn, Pat Munn (Frank) Scott of Bay Minette and Janice Munn of Prattville; and brother, Gene Munn of Bay Minette.
A memorial service was held Monday, Jan. 10 at Stapleton Baptist Church. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Benevolent Fund of Stapleton Baptist Church, 35460 Baldwin Ave., Stapleton, AL 36578.
