MOBILE, Ala. — The YMCA’s Chicken Wing Cook-off has been set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18 at Bienville Square.

All proceeds will benefit YMCA’s Kids Need Heroes Campaign.

Wing Teams registration fee is $500; the cost  includes entry for up to six team members and 50 tickets.

Gate tickets for adults are $10 in advance, $12 at the gate. 

Kids enter free. 

Event features all the chicken wings you can eat, according to a spokesperson.

Children’s activities all day long include:  five inflatables; clown; face painting; games; sno-cones; and hot dogs.
