Yolanda Perez Lopez, 63, native of Sonora, Texas and resident of Foley passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012.
Mrs. Lopez was a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, and was known as the “Mexican Martha Stewart.”
She is survived by her husband, Victor Lopez of Foley; mother, Vivian Perez of Clovis, N.M.; two sons, Fernando Lopez of Summerdale and Victor J. “JoJo” Lopez of Gulf Shores; two daughters, Raquel “Rachel” Malone of Magnolia Springs and Victoria Shiloh Charqueno of Foley; five stepchildren, Victor Lopez “Jr.” of Florida, Yvonne Lopez, Delia Alejos, both of Houston, Texas, Mary Jane Romo and Sylvia Romo, both of Texas, and 38 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 21, 2012, from 6-8 p.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. A Rosary Service will begin at 5:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at 2 p.m., at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Foley.
