Edith Aline Zimmerman, 86, a former resident of Jefferson County and a resident of Foley, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007.
She was a member of Oyster Bay Baptist Church of Gulf Shores.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harold Zimmerman, brother and sister-in-law, Amie and Agnes McMinn.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat (Frank) Ingram of Foley; son, Hal (Renee) Zimmerman of Argo; brother, George (Ginger) McMinn of Cullman; four grandchildren, Kevin (Sharlene) Ingram of Parish, Kerry (Joy) Ingram of Foley, Brian (Amanda) Zimmerman of Clay and Samantha Zimmerman of Decatur; four great-grandchildren, Collin, Dalton and Ella Zimmerman all of Clay and Nicholas Beisel of Gainesville, Fla.; and special friends, personnel of the Alzheimer’s Unit at the Golden Living Health Care Center in Foley.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 25 at New Horizon Memorial Chapel in Sumiton with the Rev. Randy Davis and the Rev. Wayne Shelton officiating. Burial followed at Good Hope Cemetery in Cullman.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Oyster Bay Baptist Church.
Local arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
